Transmissive illumination type
This model uses a newly developed high brightness halogen lamp light source. Although its power is only 50W, the lighting brightness is not inferior to ordinary 100W halogen lamps, and even brighter than it! Especially when using objects with a size of 50 x or more, their brightness is about 20-40% higher than that of a regular 100W halogen lamp light source. The new light source has low energy consumption and low heat generation, so the thermal deformation caused by the heating of the lighting device is effectively suppressed. The illumination brightness of the specimen itself is not directly proportional to the wattage of the light source. Nikon uses a unique compound eye lens illumination, which can fully utilize the brightness of the filament, thereby obtaining uniform and bright illumination throughout the entire field of view.
